What is the highest cupcake?

The highest cupcake depends on which skin you're playing. In the New skin the top treat is the Moon Cake at 131,072. In the Classic skin the highest is the Rainbow cupcake at 8192. Both sit far above the 2048 cupcake that wins the game — you only reach them in endless mode.

What about the Rainbow Cupcake?
The Rainbow Cupcake is one of the most sought-after treats in the original 2048 Cupcakes, so a lot of players are chasing it. This baked-treat version keeps the Rainbow as the Classic skin's highest cupcake (8192), while the New skin climbs higher still, to the Moon Cake.
Endless mode and beyond
Reaching the 2048 cupcake (the Birthday Cake) wins the game, but you don't have to stop. Endless mode lets you keep merging toward the top treat — and if you push past the highest named cupcake, tiles simply keep doubling as Legendary treats while your score climbs as high as you can carry the board.
How to reach the highest cupcake
Getting to the top takes hundreds of clean merges, so organisation is everything: keep your biggest cupcake pinned in a corner and build a descending chain beside it. The strategy guide covers the technique in full, and the cupcake list shows every rung on the way up.
