How to play

The goal

Slide the board in any direction. When two cupcakes of the same value touch, they merge into the next cupcake up. Reach the 2048 cupcake to win — then keep going for a higher score.

Controls

• Arrow keys or WASD — move
• Swipe — move (touch devices)
• Z — undo · N — new game

Tips

• Keep your biggest cupcake in a corner and build around it.
• Work along one edge so the board stays orderly.
• Use undo to recover from a misfire — then plan two moves ahead.
• Try the daily challenge for the same board as everyone else.
